The hotel is in a prime location. The staff are very friendly. The bathroom in the room with lake view was recently renovated. The room is otherwise simply furnished. The bed was not particularly comfortable and the duvet was only covered with a simple sheet, not wrapped. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Expected more for that price.

We are not sure why this hotel is rated so high. We have been traveling all over Italy for the past 3 weeks. Every other place has been amazing! This is NOT luxurious. Breakfast was unappealing, courtesy depends on who is at the desk, room was very large with the most unusual decor. Construction and traffic noise extremely loud. The view, once you looked over the cranes and backhoe, were lovely. The bed and pillows were extremely hard. Very few amenities, or simple niceties and an overall feeling of not really being welcomed. Huge loud tour groups filled the breakfast area. I must say very clean rooms with kind cleaning staff. All in all for the cost, not a very pleasant stay at all.

Location is perfect! Right in the center 2 mins walk from all shops and lake! Service and rooms are also perfect! It was our honeymoon and the hotel was very attentive and gave us a good room with a view over the lake! We weren’t lucky with the weather, it was raining and the lake water level was up. It was a good night spent. Breakfast is also good and a good variety is available.

The rating is 4 stars because the rooms are comfortably average. Centrally located on the waterfront. Unfortunately the promenade is in the process of a major upgrade.It will be very nice when done I'm sure. What is 5 star is the hostess Evangelina. She offers help and is always cheerful. Worth staying just for her.

The location is nice, 5-10mins to Como lago train station. The hotel manager is friendly and helpful, he suggests a lot of nice restaurants to us. We have wonderful lake view room which is big, clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Unfortunately, the rooms don’t look at all like seen on the website. Our room was VERY dated, needed refreshing and did not look very clean. Think back to hair dryers with the big tubs. Extremely well located and service was good but room was a huge disappointment. I was happy we only had 1 night and I would not return.

While the entrance, lobby and common areas have retained their historical charm, once inside the chosen room, Junior Suite, it is very modern, spacious and clean. Breakfast was included with a good selection of continental and hot foods. Location is excellent with an ~10 minute walk to Como S. Giovanno Train Station and across the road from the waterfront. For awareness and certainly outside of the Hotel's control, as at September '23, there are major works on the waterfront directly opposite the hotel, restricting the view from my room (66) and noisy during weekdays.
